The estate version of the Mercedes-Benz CLS – the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake – will debut at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake – well, a concept CLS SB – bowed in at the Beijing Motor Show in 2010 and although we’ve seen it running around the roads, it’s seemed no closer to production. But it looks like Mercedes has now had long enough to play with the oxymoron that is a coupe estate and the CLS Shooting Brake will get its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed at the end of June.
The Crackdown 2 video game doesn't go on sale until July 6, but the sweepstakes to win the “Crackdown Cruiser” has already begun. General Motors will donate the proceeds from the sale of a limited-edition Chevrolet Corvette 427 Z06 that is crossing the auction block this weekend to help fund relief efforts in Haiti. GM design boss Ed Welburn will introduce the car at the Barrett-Jackson auction on Saturday in Scottsdale, Ariz. The automaker will donate the money from the sale to the American Red Cross to fund its work in earthquake-devastated Haiti.
